I first connected with Pierre-Hugues Charbonneau in summer of 2022, after I bought and fell in love with one of his Production Series guitar models. That absolute badass of a guitar prompted a conversation with one of the coolest guys around and kick-started our partnership. A trained luthier, Pierre-Hugues founded Charbonneau Guitars in 2011 on the outskirts of Montreal, Canada. He created the company with a dream and the belief that an electric guitar is not just an instrument, but a vehicle for emotions - an outlet to express the player’s state of mind whether it be love, fury, hope, passion, insanity, anger or any mix of any of these. Since that time, Pierre-Hugues has grown his repertoire of uniquely designed instruments, all built with the highest quality woods and components.  All of his creations embody his intense focus on the tone, feel and looks sought by today’s guitarists.  And he does it all himself - currently keeping his company a one-man operation!
